Bonuses and wagering

Bonuses at bitcoin casinos — and what the turnover really comes to

The headline of an offer gives a percentage and a multiplier. The sum needs a third figure — the base the multiplier runs on — and it is that one which decides whether the same offer is cheap or twice as dear.

01

No bonus percentage stands beside an operator's name anywhere in this register — not here and not in the entries on the front page. A percentage without the condition that governs it is not information, and these pages exist to supply the missing half.

ONE BONUS, TWO SUMSDeposit 500 zł · bonus 100% · multiplier 40×Base: the bonusonly the credit is multiplied20,000 złBase: deposit + bonusyour own money is multiplied too40,000 złTwice the difference, and in both cases the line on the page reads “100% to claim, 40× wagering”.
Two bonuses described identically — one hundred per cent, forty times the turnover — differ by a factor of two, because the multiplier runs once on the credit alone and once on the credit together with the deposit. The base is the one figure of the three that almost nobody prints in the headline.

The sum step by step

On the first entry with a full set of figures
  1. 01
Deposit — 500 złthe worked example of this page, not a suggestion
  2. 02
Bonus at 150% — 750 złthe credit that lands in the account
  3. 03
Base: the bonus alone — 750 złthe cheaper base: the deposit stays out of the sum
  4. 04
Multiplier 50× — 37,500 złthe turnover required before anything can leave

Four figures, one operation. The difficulty is not the arithmetic — it is that the third of them, the base the multiplier runs on, sits in the bonus terms rather than in the headline of the offer.

04

Four clauses that change the answer

The small print that counts most
  • Game weighting. Slots usually 100%, tables 10% or nothing. Turnover cleared at blackjack can require ten times the total in stakes.
  • Stake limit during wagering. Going over it even once can be grounds for cancelling the bonus along with the winnings.
  • Cap on what a bonus can pay out. Some sets of terms cut the withdrawable amount down to a multiple of the bonus itself.
  • The time window. Once the deadline passes, the credit and everything grown from it disappears. The commonest reason a bonus “vanishes”.

What is not here

And why

There are no offers without a deposit. Checking whether such an offer exists at all requires opening an account; this register opens no accounts. Nor are there promo codes copied from other people's lists — a code copied without checking is the same thing as a code invented.

Common questions

What people actually type
What does “40× wagering” mean?
That a certain amount has to be staked forty times over in games before the bonus can be withdrawn. Which amount — that is what the base decides.
Why can two bonuses of “100%, 40× wagering” differ by a factor of two?
Because one runs the multiplier on the bonus credit alone, and the other on the deposit together with the credit. On a 500 zł deposit that is the difference between 20,000 zł and 40,000 zł of turnover.
Is a bonus worth taking?
That depends on the sum, and the sum cannot be done without three figures. If the operator gives only two, the decision is being taken blind — and that is the most important thing this page has to say on the subject.
